TALKS

I always do a few talks each year to local camera clubs, local RSPB, National Trust, U3A and other groups for example, on a variety of topics related to nature photography, digital imaging or natural history. I have a range of subjects including "Plant Photography", Nature Photography - Telling a Story" "Invisible Photography" and "Colour in Nature". I also have a large collection of old digital cameras and other associated technology, which I have started to show various camera clubs. Talks can either be by Zoom, or in person.

"... many of our members felt that your presentation was one of the best we have ever had at the club" (Sevenoaks Camera Club)

"... Your talk combined great photography with expert explanations and practical tips. A model of how to make a presentation to a photographic club - our members thought it was an excellent night" Richmond Photographic Society)

"... Your images were wonderful, and narration fascinating... Several members commented on your technical expertise and obvious enthusiasm for your photography and the subject" Tandridge Photoghraphic Society)

Although I do make advance bookings, I am finding it increasingly difficult to book dates often a year or more in advance. I would actually prefer to be contacted a few weeks (or even days) ahead, perhaps if a speaker has had to cancel. Don't hesitate to contact me!

I run a large number of workshops throughout the year, both for organisations and individuals, as well as offering a consultancy service. Workshops can be for groups or individual one to one training in subjects such as Photoshop, digital workflow, digital camera use or plant photography. See Workshops and Tuition pages.
